Our Mercantile
The Mercantile is our shop off the lobby. Books about this place, leather, ceramics, and the things you forgot to pack — stocked in the same spirit the rooms were built: fewer things, better made.
We buy from makers directly rather than through distributors. Most are small, most are Western, and a growing number work right here in Jackson — including artists we first met through our Uncommon Art Residency. This past year we more than doubled our local sourcing.
Each season we host a pop-up for makers — mostly from Jackson Hole and Wyoming, with the occasional visiting brand we’ve chosen because they share our values. Recent ones have brought in local makers like Piper JH, Willow Apothecary, Perennial West, and JW Bennett, and our support doesn’t stop when the event does: we carry many of these makers year-round.

Brands We Carry
A selection built around Jackson and the West — small makers first, most of them working just down the road. Grainger Glass Studio makes handmade stained-glass jewelry and objects. Perennial West curates vintage and secondhand Western wear, JW Bennett is a multi-generational Wyoming maker that creates handmade felt cowboy hats, Emily Yeates, an alum of our Uncommon Art Residency, prints silk scarves with flowers from her own Jackson garden, and Grace Peck is a Jackson ceramicist. Willow makes bath and body products here in town, and Mursell’s Candy rounds it out with small-batch sweets made in Jackson Hole.
