Check-in is at 4 pm and check-out is at 11 am. While we can’t guarantee early check-ins or late check-outs, you’re welcome to request them when booking or upon arrival. Based on availability, a late check-out may be arranged for an additional fee.

On arrival the hotel will authorize the credit card for $100 per stay to cover any additional charges to the room. Any unused funds will be released at check out.

Yes. Self-parking in a flat lot just outside the hotel, included in your stay at no additional charge. Spaces are limited and first come, first served, so we can’t guarantee one on arrival. Most hotels near Town Square charge $25–35 a night for parking, so it’s worth the early check-in if you’re driving. Overnight street parking isn’t permitted in downtown Jackson.

That said, once you’re here you may not need the car. Town Square is two blocks away, and most of downtown Jackson — restaurants, galleries, the Rec Center, the People’s Market — is within a ten-minute walk. Bikes are available to all guests, and the START bus runs free within town.

The Anvil is located at 215 North Cache Street in downtown Jackson, about 15 minutes from Jackson Hole Airport (JAC).

In winter, you can book a Jackson Airport Shuttle. And if you’d rather take a taxi or rideshare, our front desk team is happy to arrange one — just ask.

Not on site. We decided not to build one two blocks from the Teton County/Jackson Recreation Center — your access is included in your stay. The Rec Center reopened in May 2024 after a $22 million voter-approved expansion that doubled its size. It has two gymnasiums, an indoor running track, a new weight and cardio floor, a lap pool, a sauna, and a 9,695-square-foot climbing gym — the first public climbing facility in Teton County. Ask at the front desk for a pass.

If you’d rather be outside, the paved pathway is one block from the hotel — running, walking, or cycling — and it connects to 70 miles of pathway and 150 miles of dirt trail across Teton County, the national forest, and Grand Teton National Park. Yes, Anvil Hotel offers ADA-accessible guest rooms featuring accessible entryways and ADA-compliant bathrooms. Our lobby, check-in area, and common spaces are also accessible to guests with mobility needs. While some areas of the property may have limited access due to historic preservation and local terrain, we’re committed to ensuring a comfortable and welcoming experience for all.

Absolutely—we welcome dogs up to 50 lbs. There’s a non-refundable fee of $75 per three-day stay. Please let us know in advance if your pup will be joining your stay with us. You can email our team ahead of arrival, and we’ll send over the pet waiver for easy check-in.

Yes. The Anvil offers a daily breakfast bag featuring a rotating breakfast sandwich, fresh-baked pastry, seasonal fruit, and Snake River Roasters drip coffee. Breakfast is available for pickup at the Front Desk from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Please contact the Front Desk at least 48 hours in advance for special dietary accommodations.
