Stroll, Sip & Soak Up the Scene

Town Trot Itinerary

Ease into your day the Jackson way—slow, cozy, and full of character. Start with a cup of our signature Snake River Roasting Co. coffee in the lobby and flip through a magazine or guidebook to plan your day.

Step next door to the Jackson Hole Historical Society & Museum for a deep dive into the area’s rich cultural and natural history.

Wander beneath the iconic elk antler arches on Town Square and head to Persephone Bakery for a French-inspired brunch—fresh pastries and Intelligentsia espresso await.

Meander through Gaslight Alley, stopping into MADE for handcrafted keepsakes, Valley Bookstore for a local read, or Mursell’s for a sweet treat.

Explore Jackson’s art scene with stops at Diehl Gallery (modern wildlife art), Altamira Fine Art (contemporary Western works), and Heather James Fine Art (featuring legends like Picasso and Warhol).

Wind down with a dinner of handmade pastas and cocktails at Glorietta Trattoria, then round out the night at the iconic Million Dollar Cowboy Bar—boots optional, but encouraged.

Wildlife, Sleigh Rides & Scenic Dining

Valley Vibes Itinerary

Start your day with a cup of Snake River Roasting Co. coffee from our lobby and get ready for an adventure-packed day in the valley.

Embark on a guided wildlife tour of the valley and Grand Teton National Park, where expert guides will take you to the best spots for sightings of moose, bison, elk, foxes, and if you’re lucky, a wolf (sorry, no bears today!).

Walk across the street to the Visitor’s Center and check in for your sleigh ride on the National Elk Refuge. Two large draft horses will pull your wooden sleigh through the valley, bringing you up close to the iconic Jackson Hole Elk Herd. Keep your eyes peeled for other wildlife and enjoy the local lore shared by your driver.

After a day of exploration, head up to Dornan’s for a delicious dinner with stunning Teton views—bonus points if you make it there on a Monday for the Hootenanny!

Ski, Savor & Swing

Alpine Adventure Itinerary

Start your adventure with a fresh pastry and a cup of Snake River Roasting Co. coffee from our lobby before catching Jackson Hole Mountain Resort’s first tram at 9 am.

Spend the day skiing or snowboarding on world-famous terrain.

  • For a mellow experience, stay on the north side of the mountain and loop the new Solitude Gondola and Casper chair lift.
  • For a challenge, lap the Thunder and Sublette chairs all day.
  • Expert skiers can hire a backcountry guide to explore local powder stashes.

No matter your skill level, be sure to visit Corbet’s Cabin at the “top of the world” for a waffle and 360-degree views of the Jackson Hole valley from the aerial tram.

After your slopeside adventures, head to the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar for a nightcap and western swing to end your day.

Sled Dogs & Hot Springs

Wild Wonders Itinerary

Wake up just before sunrise and bundle up for an unforgettable adventure into the wild. Start your day with a custom-blended cup of coffee from Snake River Roasting Co. and a fresh pastry from our Mercantile.

Next, jump in the car and head to meet Jackson Hole Iditarod Sled Dog Tours for a thrilling 20-mile dog sled journey. Greet your musher guide and team of authentic Alaskan racing sled dogs before setting off toward your destination: Granite Hot Springs. Take a rejuvenating dip in the 105-degree waters and soak in the serenity of the wilderness.

If you’re seeking an extra dose of adrenaline, opt for a snowmobile trip to the hot springs instead.

After a day of exploring the majestic mountains, return to the Anvil and unwind with a craft cocktail at Glorietta’s bar. For dinner, stroll to King Sushi, a local favorite set in a charming, historic one-room cabin.

End your day with a nightcap at The Rose before heading to bed, knowing you’ve experienced Jackson Hole’s wild beauty at its finest.

Tail-Wagging Adventures

Paws & Play Itinerary

Start your day with a special treat from our Front Desk for your furry friend and a pastry for your paw-rent.

Next, take your pup on a scenic adventure to Cache Creek Trailhead. Whether you choose to hike, snowshoe, or cross-country ski, your dog will love the gorgeous landscape and plenty of smells to explore. Be sure to follow leash laws at the trailhead, and keep an eye out for local wildlife (moose sightings are common!).

After the outdoor fun, swing by Teton Tails to grab a treat or a food refill for your dog. If you’re looking to grow your family, head to the Animal Adoption Center to find your new best friend.

Finish off the day with a stop at Snake River Brewing Co., Jackson’s original brewpub. Their outdoor patio and lawn are pet-friendly, so leashed pups are welcome to relax while you enjoy one of their award-winning craft beers.
